2 the wind...

I'm crying while I'm writing this. It's not a heavy weight that's carried all the time. The waves still crash tho and sometimes it gets overwhelming. People still ask where the name JADE KOTH comes from and I still love telling people the origins of everything. Every year I say I gotta remind myself to keep my eye on the prize. To enjoy myself and utilize the time we have here to do what we need while we can. Not buy into some of the surrounding nonsense and roll with whatever the hell is happening now. Time is always ticking and it's nice to step back and see how far things have come. Evaluating the last routes taken. Learning through living and creating positive memories heavier than the emotions that come with 'life. I think about you always. I Love you.

Doses featuring Ali Henri and YG Hypnos Available Now!

After years of recording and working with both YG Hypnos and Ali Henri It's nice to bring them together on a track. With YG Hypnos's smooth style of Boom Bap Lofi with Ali Henri's Hudson Valley dialect and flow, with the hype and hybrid twang of Jade Koth It is a perfect introduction to anybody who doesn't already know. Something chill you can vibe to. It's Lyrics, It's Poetry, It's an SP 404.

Backbooth 8.27.16

A few years back I had the opportunity to open for Mike Stud in Orlando. During the set somebody yelled "Put Mike on Stage!" I laughed it off but later on thought "wow, that guy really didn't want to hear me" It didn't really bother me but it was the first time I ever dealt with heckling.
Over the past few years I've learned to have fun with hecklers and bring a comedic almost 'Pro Wrestling' element to dealing with this type of shit while still trying to keep the show rollin...
Last night during our set in Orlando somebody yelled "Put Desiigner on stage!" ...and that has to be the meanest thing i've ever had verbally hurled at me. #PrayForOrlando

Recently, like over the last 6 months 'Recently', I have been on a strange vibe. I can't tell if it has to do with how things going on professional, or if its something deeper than I even know.
Things have been moving forward at a turtle like pace. I'm not in any hurry. I'm just glad things are moving in the right direction.
The 'Killing Bugs With Hockey Sticks' mixtape is finally done and will be ready for distribution in September through Jadekoth.com and DeadFlyRadio.com. Literally a handful of people put effort  into making this project work. It took a while but I think you'll enjoy the production.

I wanna thank Kushgrams for supplying and allowing me to get with him on all the beats and really work together and catch the right vibe for these cuts,

I wanna thank Bree for helping me burn a million CD's before gigs and putting together the artwork and graphic work for the posters, cover art and other challenges that require a MicronPen,

I wanna thank Gunk for always staying patient and keeping a strong mind and always looking to learn more and help this project grow and distributing everything.

I wanna thank Daddy C for inviting me into Lakehurst and treating me to a hospitable and comfortable recording experience, also I think these are the cleanest sounding tracks to come out yet.
Thank you guys for all your help.

Killing Bugs Droppin' 8/5

Living with Kushgrams has allowed me to catch a ringside seat into his world of beat making. From cuttin' samples, to learning new bass lines his progression has surpassed many of my expectations and he continues to learn and build many new sounds still. I'm excited to know him as a friend but watching him develop as an artist is pretty neat too. He's been producing my upcoming mixtape "Killing Bugs with Hockey Sticks" which is set to drop around 8/5 which is gonna be followed up by his beat tape. Stick around and dive into the sounds we've been creating, I think you'll enjoy.

5 years...

I'm pretty sure this starts out the same every year but I still cannot believe its been 5 years now :(
I still have your number locked in my phone and from time to time I start thinkin' I could give it a buzz and you would pick up. I miss your atmosphere and the knowledge you would drop on my friends and I when you would come to town. I feel like right before you passed we started to really connect on a more mature "adult" level.
I've been on the music heavy and taking it more serious than ever. I wish we could collaborate and bridge the 20 year gap of influence to make something beautiful.
I still have your videos and photographs to remind me of who you were.
If you were still around there would probably be no Jade Koth ..and I wouldnt mind that 1 bit.
At times I lose focus but its not long before you bring me back to reality.
I love you and I miss you Always.

a show from a sweet girls really hot garage in Ocala

After one venue failed at hosting the scheduled show, The City of Ocala and a very sweet girl with a cool family allowed Myself, The Dead Fly Radio and 3 touring hardcore bands into their home and allowed us to preform in their garage.
It's not what I expected playing "a house show" but it was a very dope sporadic experience.
The garage itself was 400 degrees and most of the audience left do to the heat (or us, who knows?) but overall it was a wonderful experience getting back in touch with my hardcore roots and playing in Ocala for the first time in 8 years.
we also did some networking with some new faces.
I enjoy going to a place where we have never played and catching such a genuine authentic vibe, good or bad.. it doesnt get more honest then total strangers.
I can't wait to come back to Ocala and play again.

if you're in the Central Florida Area and need some killer shots both promo/live get at my homegirl Miranda Eliot, good prices and even greater work.

Lake City

Lake City was a fun time. Myself, Breanda, Mike and Kush Grams all got a hotel in LC and partied good.
It was a bit odd performing without Pat Real but he was there in spirit for sure.
Thank you for the love and the good times, Lake City!
We'll see you when we come back in July <3

Thanks to Nora Houston from Lake City for sending us these shots (4.18.15)
